On August 8, the Alliance Executive Committee forwarded a letter to Washington State’s Office of Financial Management requesting a status update on the McNeil Island long-term plan. One of the Alliance’s 2014 near-term actions is tracking state efforts to determine the long-term management strategy of McNeil Island, as well as support for protection and restoration of habitat and natural resources of the island for low-impact public access.
